Knowledge Hiding & Sharing
Organizations have a lot to gain by creating an environment where employees share their knowledge with one another, but many employees hide their knowledge, or intentionally withhold information from coworkers who have requested it. We explore the reasons people share or hide their knowledge, and the different strategies they use to do so. We also examine how people react when their coworkers hide knowledge from them, and what factors shape these reactions.
